When the Sky Comes Alive
Every shade in the Aurora Chasing palette in collaboration with Ellie Starr, was intentionally named after real auroral phenomena, atmospheric layers, and celestial forces that shape the northern lights. From magnetic fields to radiant arcs, each name is rooted in the science and poetry behind one of Earth’s most breathtaking cosmic events.
Auroras are born where chaos meets order. Solar storms guided by invisible forces, painting the sky in light. This palette honors that balance. These aren’t just names for the sake of beauty; they tell the story of motion, energy, and transformation written across the atmosphere.
Each shade reflects the duality of the auroras themselves, vibrant yet fleeting, powerful yet serene.
Aurora Chasing captures that moment when the sky comes alive and invites you to follow the glow wherever it leads.
Ellie Starr’s signature aurora chasing looks
Starrfall Veil
A luminous aurora-inspired eye look created by Ellie Starr, blending shifting light with deep atmospheric color. Multidimensional shimmer melts into velvety purples and greens, mimicking the way auroras ripple and fade across the night sky. Prismatic sparkles and celestial embellishments are scattered like stars in motion, catching light from every angle.
Soft diffusion around the edges keeps the look ethereal, while the glowing center creates depth and movement, as if the sky itself is alive. Starrfall Veil captures the quiet magic of chasing light after dark. Dreamy, cosmic, and unmistakably Ellie.
Aurora's Halo
This look captures the moment just after the sky has finished dancing when the light lingers, softened and luminous. A layer of cool lavender shimmer glows at the center of the lid, wrapped in diffused greens and muted purples that melt seamlessly into one another.
Fine sparkle traces the eye like residual starlight, while subtle iridescence shifts with every movement, creating depth without harsh contrast. The overall effect is calm, dimensional, and quietly radiant.
Magnetic Arc
This look centers on a molten multichrome lid, glowing with layered shifts of gold, red, and embered warmth. Surrounding it, saturated magenta and soft violet bloom outward, creating contrast that feels intentional and energized rather than harsh.
The finish is dimensional and alive, with color that appears to move as light hits from different angles.
Magnetic Arc captures the tension between intensity and softness with bold color guided by invisible forces, suspended in perfect balance.
